"DO NOT STRAY - BUT PRAY!!!" says the LORD.
Early morning on 8/24/14 as I slept, I heard the LORD speak those words into my spirit. I awoke at the sound of His voice and asked why is He saying this to me. There was no response.
Definition of stray: (verb) move away aimlessly from a group or from the right course or place.; (adj.) not in the right place; separated from the group or target
As I am reminded today of His admonition back then, I took a look back at my journal after that date until present. There were many troubles and opposition from the enemy. I also took notice that there was an increase of God's revelation through dreams in which I penned and released its message as the Spirit of the LORD lead.
I now can clearly see "why" the LORD said what He said to me. He was warning me of what was ahead. Only He knows the plans He had for me which included releasing revelation that I was to write and release. He knew the enemy would oppose me to keep me from hearing, receiving, releasing and sounding the alarm for others to hear. Prayer is a weapon and a shield that will disarm, disassemble and destroy the enemy's plan. That is why we are commanded to pray without ceasing. (1 Thess. 5:15-16)
The troubles the enemy stirred in my home was meant to move me away from God's purpose - separating me from the path God was leading me through in this season of revelation and purpose.
I share this with you because the LORD is also saying to you "Do NOT stray - BUT PRAY! The enemy desires to take you off course. He will trouble you and cause you to lose focus. Do not be consumed with what you hear transpiring in this world regarding the outbreak of Ebola and ISIS. The enemy desires to bring fear upon God's people so as to paralyze them. The ploy is to bring distraction - shifting their focus from God. In doing so, they become consumed, fearful and engrossed in endless chatter of the chaos instead of praying and engaging in spiritual warfare! Do not be moved! Stay the course and persevere for the LORD your God is with you. ~ ~ ~
DO NOT STAY BUT PRAY! There is power in prayer!
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ~ Philippians 4:6
