Rejection: An Instrument of Murder

'Rejection is so powerful that some psychologist may now be utilizing it as a means for "natural" abortion of unwanted children. The woman wanting the abortion is instructed to verbalize strong words of rejection to the fetus. 60% of verbally rejected babies naturally abort. Rejection becomes an instrument for murder. The wounds of rejection is powerful enough to destroy life in the womb. Those who survive this abortion-rejection tactic live with repercussions.' A rejected child becomes a neglected one, and abused either with words or silence. It affects every area of their life especially in relationships. They question their worth, their significance and purpose for living. They retreat into isolation, avoiding people as a whole because of fear of rejection. They become unapproachable as they hide behind the fortress they have built around their heart for protection - keeping others out, even God.

Step INTO the Fire!

In this world we are constantly bombarded with idols.  They are erected in many forms to lure a people into worshiping the god of this world unknowingly.  There are idols of money, sex and power - what many consider the American dream.  They are mainstreamed through media and projected into the spirit of man.

There is a constant pressure to bow down to these images.  The worship of these idols leads to bondage and destruction.  Unfortunately those who do not know God perish for lack of knowledge.  (Hosea 4:6)

However for those of us who DO know and SERVE the LORD through relationship NOT religion, we are equally faced with the same temptations to bow down to these idols.  Yet we are reminded that although we are in the world, we are NOT of this world (John 15:19)  We are NOT to copy the behavior and customs of this world. (Romans 12:2)  We are a set apart people, a peculiar people called to be Light and Salt in the earth.  A people who raises God's standards - revealing Him and His glory for others to see.

Deliverance Ministry - Is it Real?

In a previous post entitled "Are YOU Free Indeed?" I shared a teaching series on deliverance from Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway Church.  In these teachings we discovered that a Christian can possess demons but not be demon possessed. If you want to know the difference please see that particular post.

There has been much controversy within the church regarding deliverance ministry due to ignorance. The bible says "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6) You have a few churches that embraces and administers it and then you have those who shy away and speak against it.  Unfortunately today there are more that shun it than embrace it because of fear or theology, doctrine, traditions and/or beliefs.

Are YOU Free Indeed?

Can a Christian be demon possessed? NO!  Can a Christian possess a demon? YES!

FREE INDEED!

What's the difference?  A demon cannot have ownership of a Christian because we belong to God. On the other hand a Christian can possess a demon and be bound by their influence when "open doors" are made available to them.

For example, if you happen to leave your home and left the door open a thief is able to come inside.  Correct?  Does it mean he owns your home? Of course not! He doesn't own it but he IS inside and able to steal, kill and destroy!  Just the same when we open doors through unrepented sins, we give access or foothold to the enemy.  He does not own or possess us but influences us.

Many Christians are bound with spirits that they themselves are not aware of.  They find themselves struggling in a particular area in their life and find themselves falling prey to a sin that easily besets them.  They pray, repent and find themselves doing it over and over and over again!  They are in need of deliverance! Yes deliverance.  Today, this type of ministry has been shunned and misunderstood. Therefore, the enemy is having a field day as it is kept hidden and not ministered.

The BREAKER

Breakthrough:
An act of overcoming or penetrating an obstacle or restriction.

There are barriers that are causing frustration, exhaustion and defeat upon many in this hour because somehow we have been deceived or lured into advancing without the Breaker!

The Breaker [the Messiah] will go before them.  They will breakthrough, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head (Mic.2:13,AMP)

The Well: Celebrating Milestones

Today we come celebrating milestones for the women at "The Well" ~ A Women's Discipleship Home.

It was an emotional day for all of us. I felt like a proud mama seeing these beautiful women come and testify of God's goodness and power as He healed and transform each one!

Some of these women are mothers that have been reunited with their children! Women who are daughters and reconciled to their families! Women who are set free from addictions and made whole in Christ!  Women with a purpose to fulfill!  Women at the well who come thirsting after the LIVING WATER...

Choose: PRIDE OR BREAKTHROUGH?

If you were to take a balance scale and put “pride” on the left hand side and “breakthrough” on your right hand side, which one will sit higher and which one will lean lower?
Now the deciding factor to that question is determined by how you answer the following:

HOW DESPERATE ARE YOU?

Have you yet come to the point of being sick and tired of “being sick and tired”? If so, are you willing to let go of what is holding you back from experiencing total freedom?
