Church Walls are Coming Down ~ Saith the LORD

I am sharing as the LORD has lead me to what pertains to the Body of Christ as revealed in a dream I received on 9/16/14.

In the dream, I was in a church building.  The room was very small. The Pastor of the congregation made his acknowledgments of a portrait which I had painted that hung on the wall.  The painting depicted a "circle of prayer".  Then the Pastor proceeded and took an axe to the wall.  As the walls came down, it revealed another room.  It was a large room, bigger than the one we were in.  It was so bright.  There were double doors that led outside as well as a chair and an old church pew.  One of the members shouted "the wall that was torn was made out of wood".   (End of dream)

I then heard  the LORD speak "The Church walls are coming down, The Church walls are coming down.  No longer will my people be confined to the four corners of the walls."

I woke up and immediately asked Holy Spirit to enable me to draw what I saw in the dream. In a matter of minutes I was able to sketch it:

"There has been a remnant who have travailed in prayer and I have heard their cries, says the LORD.  I have come down to see to them.  I have come in answer to their supplications.  I come as Chief Shepherd to release my people who are confined by walls built by man.  These walls are doctrines that have been erected to manipulate, control and suppress the sheep from leaving their pews and fulfilling my mandate to "Go" and spread My Word.  It was never intended for a building to house the "Church" which is My Body.  Therefore I come with an axe in hand tearing down the walls releasing my people to bear fruit in My Name.  

For the harvest is ready yet the laborers are few because they have not been discipled and released to go and reap.  Woe to the Pastors and leaders who continue to keep my sheep in slumber.  Woe to them who have restricted My Body and caused the members to become nonfunctional.  Is not every part equally important? Have I not purposed all to function together - individually unique yet in one Spirit?  Therefore how can you who are an ear say to the eyes that they are not useful or important?  How can you who are an eye, keep the mouth from speaking?  

Just as the blood of Abel has cried out from the ground, so I hear the blood of my people that has been spilled within the walls of what many consider their church.   My Church is not a building.  It cannot be confined.  

Disciple My People and release them into the streets of their communities.  For I also hear the cry of My lost children outside of those walls.  My eyes look upon their sorrows, afflictions and the darkness that holds them captive.  How can I continue to mend the broken-hearted, heal the sick and set them free when I am confined behind a wall in a building?  Therefore I declare that the church walls are coming down - releasing My Body to fulfill my mandate until My return.  Thus saith the LORD, your God."

Allow me to share the symbols in the dream so as to give you further insight.

The portrait on the wall resembled a praying people who formed circle of prayers.  As in the book of Acts, when they assembled in the upper rooms praying fervently, the Spirit broke out.

The Pastor in the dream was in essence our Chief Shepherd (1 Peter 5:4).  The axe, in addition to being a work tool, it is also a symbol of an irreversible decision put into action by divine power; a forceful resolution of a problem.  An emblem of deity.  (Isaiah 10:33-34; Matthew 3:10)

"He will pound your walls with his battle rams and break down your towers with his axes." ~ Ezekiel 26:9

There are "axes" that are being erected at the altar that will tear down false doctrines and bring restoration.  These "axes" are Pastors and leaders positioned in God's hands, to tear down false doctrines and who will disciple and send out the sheep - covering them as they do!

The wall in the dream was made out of "wood".  Wood is symbolic of man - corruptible flesh.  In the Prophet's dictionary it is defined as a natural object that lends itself well to human manipulation.  Prophetically, a worthless human doctrine that opposes the word and work of the Spirit of God.

The double doors represents the entryway to palaces and so to kingdoms.  In this dream it leads those out to the Kingdom of God to do the work of the kingdom.  Although the doors were closed in the dream, it requires those to open what God has already revealed as a means to reach those on the other side.

Notice that there was a chair by the double doors.  The chair is a symbol of power, authority, as well as a bond of covenant to divine service.  Yes it it our divine service to the Great Commission:

"And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." ~ Matthew 28:18-20

There was also an old pew which God gave me the revelation that it represented those of old who have gone before us.  Those who have gone out and turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6).

As I mentioned in the dream, the room was bright.  He IS our lamp upon our feet and our path as we "GO"......(Psalm 119:105)

Just as I was ending this post, the LORD reminded me of the numerical significance of the date in which I received the dream.  The number 9 represents "judgment" (Haggai 1:9-11).  The number 16 represents "love" (John 3:16) and the number 14 represents "salvation/deliverance" (Matt. 1:17) = 6/16/14!  I am blown away and undone by all that He has spoken and revealed.  Because it has been my heart cry as I also prayed regarding the "church"!  He has shown me that my prayers are effective as it was portrayed in the portrait on the wall that I painted.  My God! My God! He is so faithful!

Therefore Saints, be encouraged and prepared to fulfill what God has purposed you to function in and complete for the building of His Kingdom!  Pastors and Leaders allow God to transition you from building walls into tearing them down.  Be the axe in His hands!  Disciple His People and send them forth in the blessings of God! Amen?
