There is therefore now NO Condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus ~ Romans 8:1

What is condemnation? Webster defines it as blame, condemned after weighing the evidence, declaring to be wrong, evil or found guilty.

All have sinned and fallen short of God's laws. (Romans 3:23) Isaiah 64:6 says we are like an unclean thing, all of our righteousness are like filthy rags. Jesus said "no one is good except God." Even if we think we've done good, it's not good enough, even if we scrub and soak, we cannot wash away the dirty shame. So how is it... for the Christian (in Christ) to be found blameless, clean, holy, pure, justified, pardoned, eternally forgiven...NOT GUILTY??

Let's go back to the garden. Where did sin come from? It was rooted in Satan. He was the one who offered it to Eve, he enticed her with the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, (Genesis 2:17) she thought it to be good, although God had already told them NOT to do it, she ate and gave to her husband. So sin enters the entire human race, and the heart of man became contaminated. Just as sin came through one man. (Adam) Righteousness and justification came through One Man...Jesus.

So who's blaming who? Adam blamed the woman, the woman blamed the serpent. The serpent is blaming and accusing us, still today. (Revelation 12:10) This knowledge of good and evil came immediately after they ate. They felt guilt and fear for the very first time. They hid from God, knowing they had done evil.

This sin caused a separation between them, so God performed the first blood sacrifice and covered their nakedness with animal skins. From that time on, they could no longer approach God because of sin. Generation after generation had to offer up sacrifices with the blood of bulls, lambs and calves, and rams. This blood could only cover (atone for) sin but not remove it. (Exodus 29-30)

How does it feel when you've done something wrong against a loved one, and they say they've forgiven you, but they keep bringing it back up again to the surface? Wouldn't it be great if you could just erase the whole stupid mess? Well, that's how humans cover sin, they keep it tucked under there just in case they need to remind you of your mistake. That, my friends, is exactly what the devil does to us.

It's not your spouse, it's not you, but it's the voice of a liar coming through people. We have to recognize these false lying, accusations and not accept them, because we have been forgiven, as a matter of fact, in the court of heaven..."case dismissed!" We have been justified by the pure, innocent blood of the Lamb of God, whose blood surpassed that of any animal sacrifice, once and for all. Jesus paid the final sin debt off for mankind, by taking our place on the cross. God actually forgets all about your sin! He throws it into the sea of forgetfulness.

We are now free to enter into the Holy of Holies because we have been washed clean by the blood and redemption of Christ. No more separation, as a matter of fact God loves us so much that He ripped down the veil that separated us. We do not have to carry the weight of sin and shame any more. We are free to worship God in spirit and in truth.

We are not bad, we are not worthless, we are not losers, we are not screw ups, we are not awful, unloving or stupid. We are not a mistake, we are not rotten, evil, or scum, we are not beyond repair.

WE ARE...(in Christ) HOLY, BLAMELESS, PURE, CLEAN, SANCTIFIED, WORTHY, LOVED, FORGIVEN, RESTORED, RIGHTEOUS, REDEEMED, BOLD AS A LION, COURAGEOUS, WISE, FREE FROM ALL BONDAGE!

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21
